Welcome to a season 40 years in the making! From our earliest days as the Valley Master Chorale, to our recent years under the artistic direction of John Sutton, our musical journey has been rich, vibrant and woven into the tapestry of our Los Angeles landscape. From 1974 to today, the Angeles Chorale has been committed to its tradition of choral excellence. This season, we celebrate with a series of concerts that will take you on a journey. From the Unbridled Joy in an evening of spirited gospel and the peaceful warmth of an American Christmas, to the awe and beauty of our Gala evening and, finally, to a preview of seasons to come. Join us as we celebrate!
Unbridled Joy will be performed in support of the foundation established in the name of Justin Carr, an Altadena teen who tragically passed. The foundation supports advocacy, education, mentorship and scholarships. Learn more here: www.justincarrwantsworldpeace.org

John Sutton Says...
"The last time we performed the Gospel Mass was one of the most amazing performances that I’ve ever experienced. The music literally joined the audience and performers together, and in this unity of spirit we went to a place where the music took us, not where any of us had planned to go. It was a spontaneous night of joy, love, energy, and most of all amazing music. The music created a universal experience that bridged all backgrounds, beliefs, and journeys. I can hardly wait to experience this with our audience again! The fact that this concert is on Justin Carr’s birthday makes this particular concert even more special and personal to me."
