and Mona Lands, pianist, honoring Donald Neuen for his life-long commitment to the choral art.
Rodell Aure Rosel is an exuberant entertainer blessed with a magnificent tenor voice. This rising young star recently appeared with the Metropolitan Opera and has been winning acclaim around the world. A native of Manila he studied at UCLA, where he sang the title role in Britten’s Albert Herring. He appeared as soloist with the Angeles Chorale in The Creation in 2004. A Metropolitan Grand Prize winner, he received support from the Opera Buffs and has received their Career Achievement Award. His recording with the Wolf Trap Opera of John Musto’s Volpone has been nominated for the Grammy Award for best opera recording of 2009.

The committee will compile a book with photos and messages which will be printed and bound for Maestro Neuen.
