Membership in the Angeles Chorale is extremely rewarding for fine choral musicians. It also represents a significant commitment of time, including weekly rehearsals and home study. If you participated in your collegiate chorus or have studied music, you are probably a good candidate. Firmly grounded choral musicians are encouraged to audition.

Summer Chorale Auditions
Location: UCLA Schoenberg Music Building RR#1325

Audition requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Need a good singing voice that will blend with the ensemble
• Ability to read music well

Fifteen-minute audition to include:

• Bring choral resume and picture
• Sing a prepared song of your choice
• Vocal Range Check
• Sight Reading
• Tonal Memory
• Brief interview

Should you become a member of the Chorale, you will share in the satisfaction of producing unforgettable musical experiences for our audiences. As members, singers agree to :

• Contribute $20 dues per month for 10 months ($200 / year)
• Procure the required concert attire: white tie and tails for men and a uniform long black dress for the women, plus concert music folder
• Participate in the funding and operation of the Chorale, including promoting the concerts, supporting fund-raising activities, and performing volunteer tasks

August 17th from 10AM - 1PM and from 2PM to 5PM
