Gayle Biava , President-Elect
Gayle Biava was born and raised in the Midwest, graduating from the University of Illinois with a B.A. in music education. After teaching classroom music and piano in Indiana, she moved to Los Angeles, became a classroom teacher and spent her last 15 years as a principal. After retiring, she worked for a book publisher doing sales as well as teacher workshops in California and other states, served as an interim administrator at many LA schools, taught at CSUN and served as a supervisor of student teachers. Currently she is the speaker chairman for the Old Granada Hills Residents’ Group, a group of community activists who work to preserve the quality of their town.
In 1971 she became a member of the Northridge Masterworks Chorale, which was later renamed the Angeles Chorale. Her interests include playing bridge, sewing, Tai Chi, Sudoku and crossword puzzles, travel, family and friends.
Sue Bell, Chief Financial Officer
Susan Bell is an accounting consultant who has served the greater Los Angeles area for the past 30 years. She specializes in the set up of new businesses and the recovery of businesses suffering from poor organization and record keeping. Her clientele ranges from professionals to the arts including, education and manufacturing. She enjoys listening to music, traveling and time with her two children, a musician and a photographer.
