Todd Strange is a rising lyric tenor in opera, operetta and concert work. Recent performances include Todd's solo debut with the Los Angeles Opera as the Peasant Soloist in Eugene Onegin as well as Alfredo in Pacific Coast Opera’s production of La Traviata. Professional roles with The Ohio Light Opera include Frederic in Pirates of Penzance, and the title role of Lehar’s The Czarevitch, where Todd was reviewed as having a “glorious voice” that “is strong and clear and his acting is on target.”

As a concert artist, Mr. Strange has been a soloist in more than 25 oratorios. He is delighted to be returning to The Angeles Chorale again as the tenor soloist for Handel's Messiah. Todd has been a soloist with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Tucson Symphony, San Diego Symphony, La Jolla Symphony and Chorus, Catalina Chamber Orchestra, Budapest National Orchestra, Sierra Vista Symphony, Arizona Opera Orchestra, Stockton Symphony, and The Utah Festival Opera Orchestra.

International experience includes being a recitalist at the XVIII and XXI Festival Cultural, Dr. Alfonso Ortiz Tirado in Alamos, Mexico in addition to solo work in Hungary, Italy, and Japan. Other roles performed include Tamino in The Magic Flute, Albert Herring, Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi, Ruggero in La Rondine, Fenton in The Merry Wives of Windsor, Laurie in Little Women, Eisenstein in Die Fledermaus, Don Ramiro in La Cenerentola and the title role in The Student Prince.

Most recently, Todd made his solo debut with the LA Phil and the Los Angeles Master Chorale as 2nd Foreigner in the world premier of Shostakovich's unfinished opera, Orango. Currently, Todd is singing the role of Hoffman in an outreach version of Tales of Hoffman with Orange County Opera. Mr. Strange will be making his debut this season as a Studio Artist with Opera Santa Barbara, performing the role of Basilio/Don Curzio as well as the role of the Captain in Simon Boccanegra with LA Opera. Todd is currently a member of the LA Opera Chorus and The Los Angeles Master Chorale.
